About the Author
Andy Copp is an independent filmmaker, artist, and exploitation film scholar. I have directed six feature films including The Mutilation Man, Black Sun, The Atrocity Circle and the currently in production Quiet Nights of Blood & Pain. I have worked in the public access community for over ten years and been part of the free speech movement for the same amount of time. I have been writing about horror, cult, underground and exploitation films for a decade and a half with some of my writing appearing in the magazines Shock Cinema, Asian Cult Cinema, None So Vile, Ultraviolent, Secret Scroll Digest and many others as well as a long running column in the local news weekly that lasted over five years. My own fanzine Neon Madness has been publishing since 1994. I taught film classes on horror, underground and cult cinema. I cannot be stopped. Exploitation Nation is my newest baby.
